Totally agree on this take on the Lake Ontario idiocy. While I’m all for a solid FU to the administration for yet another petty tantrum, I don’t really want big tech companies to be the authority on geographic place names either. Apple and Google are doing the right thing to defer to the national database for place names. The problem is the narcissistic pedophile changing that database on a petulant whim. And a spineless Republican Congress that lets it happen.
